Someone’s idea of a joke

I just came back from another OB appt.  He’s very pleased with the length of my cervix, and not concerned about the L-shape.

The u/s tech didn’t tell me last week that I have a low lying placenta.  Completely covering the cervical os.  He doesn’t seem to feel it’s likely to move, though he’s willing to admit that there’s a slight chance that it might.  He thinks this could be a good thing in a way though, with the placenta acting as “glue” to keep the cervix shut.

I have another ultrasound (TV & TA) next Thursday, and another OB appt in 3 weeks.

I’ve been intermittently laughing and crying.
