Because some of you were asking how she was in general I sent her a text message and also got her to explain the tongue tie…
I am feeling pretty well, moving around easily! Tongue tie is when the Frenulum ‘ties’ the tongue too tightly to bottom of mouth. Paed and new lactation consult r happy wth his feeding and weight gain & they explained the tip of the tongue grows so unlikely to cause speech probs later, yay no snip! Having scan of hips next week. Pics will come when I get home tomorrow, have some cool ones. I was getting about starkers for 1st cpl days – much easier! Now wearng pants but wandering around boobs out, again easier. I have had a really good c/s & hospital exp even tho it was not my ideal.

K–glad to hear that you and baby C. are ok. I wish that you didn’t have to deal with these other complications but at least they seem to be relatively minor. You have both been in my thoughts.
I’ll admit to getting a bit tired of waiting but am scheduled to be admitted to the hospital on Sunday so, we are next in line! Looks like L&D will turn out differently than I had hoped for too but having our little ones turn out healthy is the only thing that matters! I am so very happy for you!!!

I’m glad you had a good experience even though it wasn’t what you wanted. And yay for not having a tongue snip – ouch.
I hope you get to go home soon!
